About Me

Born in Honduras and moved to America at the age of 8, I learned at a young age to love being out of my comfort zone. After going whitewater rafting in West Virginia, I got the travel bug. Then, I went snowboarding, went to Mexico and Puerto Rico. I spent 2 years in Ethiopia where I fully immersed myself in the culture by being an English teacher. Now I’m recently returned and looking to continue exploring new countries and cultures.

I am an avid humanitarian, pacifist, world traveler, volunteer and a future Public Health Professional.

I have a BS in Human Services with a concentration in Human Development & Family Studies. For the last 5 years, I have worked with children and young adults and am currently working on projects to promote healthy behaviors. Eventually, I plan on receiving a MPH.

Lastly, I have traveled to 10 different countries and counting. I am wanderlust and finding “home” all around the world.
